FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underground structures, in particular to manholes intended for use on covers of hatches as a device preventing cover theft. Inspection well of underground communications contains a bearing base, in the upper part of which a hatch casing with a cover is installed, which forms a hollow cylinder with a bearing base. Hatch cover is connected to inner surface of hollow cylinder by means of movable flexible element, one end of which is fixed in middle part on inner surface of cover by means of bracket, and second end is fixed by bracket on hollow cylinder inner surface. Length of movable flexible element is sufficient for free removal of cover from hatch housing. Flexible element second end is secured on inner surface of hatch housing. Flexible element is made in form of, for example, link chain. Load-bearing shackle is installed in chain between links and attachment points of links to cover and hatch housing. Distance along chain length from attachment point on hatch housing to load-carrying clevis is more than distance from attachment point on cover to load-carrying clevis.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of ease of use due to simplified assembly and maintenance.
