SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multilayer dosage form for targeted delivery of probiotics and a method for production thereof. Multilayer dosage form for targeted probiotic delivery comprises a first layer and a second layer, wherein each layer contains one or more different probiotics together with one or more auxiliary components of the composition, wherein the layers separate one or more similar auxiliary components of the composition, where the composition is presented in the form of a compressed two-layer tablet dosage form or compressed double-layer dosage form in the form of a caplet, and wherein each of the first and second layers forms a separate side of the dosage form. Method for preparing the dosage form includes a step for preparing compositions containing different probiotics in each of the first layer and the second layer, a step for pressing the first layer and the second layer and a step for preparing a compressed two-layer dosage form in the form of a tablet or a compressed two-layer dosage form in the form of a caplet.

EFFECT: said multilayer dosage form produced by said method enables to make a controlled release profile of probiotics, delivering various probiotics in different parts of gastrointestinal tract.
