FIELD: bridge structures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cable-stayed bridges and can be used for mechanical chipping of ice deposits from the cables of bridge structures. The device for chipping ice deposits from the cables of the bridge structure contains a percussion mechanism, a grinding unit, a power unit and upper and lower mounting platforms connected to each other. The percussion mechanism is located in the front part of the device and includes an impact tip with a spring installed in its rear part and an electromagnetic coil. The grinding unit is located at the rear of the device and includes two pairs of lower and upper cutters located on the same vertical axis, equipped with worm wheels and fixed on supports, which are installed respectively on the lower and upper mounting supports. The power unit is located between the pairs of lower and upper cutters and includes a power supply and control element, an electric drive with drive worms rigidly attached to the rear parts of its shaft, which are meshed with the worm wheels of the lower cutters, and two satellite worms that are meshed with the worm wheels in each pair of the lower and top cutters.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in efficiency of chipping of ice deposits from the cables of the bridge structure.
