FIELD: medicine; transplantology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for transplantation of liver cells to a subject suffering liver disease or dysfunction. For this purpose directly into or on the liver of the subject, a mixture containing liver cells and one or more biomaterials is introduced, obtained from thiol-modified carboxymethyl HA (CMHA-S), wherein liver cells contain one or more combinations of one or more epithelial cells and one or more of mesenchymal linear cell partners. What is also presented is a method for administering into a liver of a subject a mixture containing liver cells and one or more biomaterials, wherein the liver cells contain one or more liver cell precursors, and at least one or more biomaterials are derived from thiol-modified carboxymethyl HA (CMHA-S), wherein the mixture is obtained as a hydrogel containing cells by mixing CMHA-S, polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEG-DA) and cells, followed by cross-linking with PEG-DA.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to provide the necessary proliferation and transplantation of damaged tissue by delivering transplanted cells in the form of aggregates attached inside or to the surface of substrates, which can be placed in damaged tissue.
