FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in preparation for experiments on measurement of soft X-ray radiation using vacuum X-ray diodes. Method of controlling the inclusion of a vacuum X-ray diode in a measuring circuit is that before experiment at atmospheric pressure on electrodes of a vacuum X-ray diode creates a potential difference, then, reducing gas pressure to operating pressure, at reference values of pressure there detected are dependences of potential difference on time, further comparing the parameters of the recorded relationships with the reference parameters previously set for the vacuum X-ray diode included in the measurement circuit, and finding values of compared parameters within confidence intervals make conclusion on inclusion of vacuum X-ray diode in measuring circuit.

EFFECT: high reliability of obtaining experimental data.
