FIELD: sampling.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and a method for providing high accuracy of analysing samples of incoming material from a plurality of separate sources of input material, fed into one or more and/or from one or more receiving reservoirs, such as a stationary storage tank or a tanker, by taking into account the difference in consumption between the respective separate sources of incoming material. Proposed system comprises feed pipelines, flow rate sensors, sampler, sampling device and outlet pipelines. Sampler has at least two inputs, each of which is configured to obtain samples from a corresponding supply pipe for source material, and a sample accumulator. Sampler also includes a mass flow controller connected to each supply pipe for the starting material, wherein each mass flow controller has a sample outlet and is configured to receive a signal representative of the flow rate at each input, wherein each mass flow controller controls the flow rate of its respective sample from its corresponding sample outlet in response to reception of representative signals. Besides, sampler includes at least first and second sample outlet pipeline connected to corresponding outlet of each mass flow regulator sample, wherein every outlet sample pipeline is connected with sample accumulator inlet for sampler feed from mass flow regulators output.

EFFECT: disclosed is a system for collecting weight-by-weight composite samples from a plurality of sources.
