FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to aortic valve prosthesis. Prosthetic aortic valve prosthesis comprises a self-expanding frame having a mesh structure formed by radially closed rows of cells, each of which is limited by ribs connected by webs. At that, the frame includes an inlet part and a releasing part, besides, the inlet part is located distally relative to the releasing part. Inlet portion comprises a distal row of carcass cells. Bridges connecting the distal ends of the ribs of the distal row of the carcass cells form an adherent edge of the frame. Each row of cells of frame contains 8–12 cells. Thickness of the ribs of the cells ranges from 320 to 450 mcm, and the width of the ribs of the cells ranges from 200 mcm to 350 mcm. Frame has a compressed configuration for delivery and an expanded configuration for use, wherein when the frame is in an expanded configuration for use, the diameter of the releasing part is greater than the diameter of the inlet part. Valve body attached to the frame includes a skirt and a folding device attached to the skirt to form a connection line of the folding apparatus and the skirt. At the same time the folding device contains flaps, wherein the adjoining flaps are interconnected to form a commissure.
