FIELD: furnaces and ovens.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to melting devices operating using induction melting in cold crucible (IMCC). Induction furnace for melting of oxide materials and glass, including for vitrification of HLW, containing inductor, metal water-cooled sectional crucible with induction drain device of hot type. Bottom part of the crucible and the inductor are made in the form of a cone. Inductor coils are located opposite cone part of crucible. In lower part of cone there is a drain device with drain flange and drain tube, which is equipped with additional inductor. Drain flange is made welded with lower end faces of crucible sections. On the flange periphery, radial cuts are made for filling with refractory fire-resistant dielectric material.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing induction furnace service life.
