FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to methods of assessing dynamics of foot contact with support surface during walking. Method includes sub-metric analysis. Results of the conducted analysis are used to determine dynamic index of total contact of foot D with a support surface during walking: D = (tend-ts)/Δtsup×100 %, where tend is the heel support end time, ts is the support start time on the toe, Δtsupp - time of support period.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and objectivity of locomotion system assessment.
