POROUS MICROPARTICLES OF BIODEGRADABLE POLYMER AND POLYMER FILLER, WHICH CONTAINS THEM Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC C08J3/12 A61K9/16 A61L27/18 C08L101/16 C08L67/04 B01J13/02

Abstract RU 2737742 C1

FIELD: cosmetic industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to porous microparticles of biodegradable polymer intended for polymer filler used for wrinkles improvement. Porous microparticles are characterized by a spherical profile, particle diameter in range of 10 to 50 mcm, pores having a diameter in range of 0.1 to 10 mcm, and porosity coefficient in range from 10 to 20 %. D10 value of porous microparticles is more than 20 mcm, D90 value is less than 60 mcm and magnitude of span of values is less than 0.8. At that value of swing magnitude is calculated by following equation: swing magnitude = (D90−D10)/D50, where D10, D50 and D90 represent size values corresponding to 10 %, 50 % and 90 %, respectively, of maximum value in integral distribution of particles, represented in form of particle size, corresponding to 1/10, 5/10 and 9/10, respectively, from the particle size distribution curve, demonstrating relative integral distribution of particles in accordance with size according to measurement, graphical representation and separation into 10 fractions. Described also is a polymeric filler for improving wrinkles, comprising porous microparticles of biodegradable polymer and one or more biocompatible carriers.

EFFECT: technical result is providing porous microparticles of a bioresalable polymer, which when used in a polymer filler containing also one or more biocompatible carriers, providing a larger volume effect at the same amount of polymer, and thus the volume effect can be maintained even when the carrier is absorbed, as well as minimizing the pain and sensation of the foreign body perceived by the patient after the injection.
