FIELD: physics; technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: device includes loading unit, ultraviolet radiation source made in the form of pulse gas-discharge lamps, facility for transportation of processed product, an unloading unit, a control unit, a grain and fodder accumulation sensor, a radiation intensity sensor and a grain and fodder distribution device in one layer. Loading unit contains dampers regulating intensity of grain and fodder intake to the device for transportation of the treated product, which is made in the form of a conveyor combined with a mesh vibration tray. Conveyor represents a tray on which there is a grain and fodder distribution device in one layer and a grain accumulation sensor, which by means of the control unit controls operation of the shutter of the loading unit and speed of operation of the electric motor of the conveyor. On the mesh vibration tray there is a radiation intensity sensor which is connected to the control unit. Mesh vibration tray is inclined at angle of 5-10° to horizon. Pulsed gas-discharge lamps are arranged at the top and bottom of the vibration tray and connected to the starting control unit and have reflectors. Mesh vibration tray, radiation intensity sensor, pulse gas-discharge lamps and reflectors are placed in one housing, at outlet of which there is an unloading unit, which is made in form of accumulation bin.

EFFECT: invention provides higher radiation efficiency, which increases capacity of the device while observing the quality of disinfection.
