FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology, can be used to increase the accuracy of the diagnostic technique for diabetic fetopathy in ultrasound examination using a prognostic scale in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus. Ultrasonic examination is conducted, antenatal diagnostics of diabetic fetopathy is carried out on the basis of detecting six main markers: macrosomia, hepatomegaly, cardiomegaly, increased thickness of subcutaneous fat of foetus, double contour of foetal head, polyhydramnios, which are evaluated in points. Diabetic fetopathy is diagnosed if total score is 65 or more.
EFFECT: method provides higher sensitivity and specificity of diagnostic ultrasonic markers of diabetic fetopathy.
