FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used to predict fetopathy in pregnant women with gestational diabetes in the second half of pregnancy. Essence of the method: in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus in the second half of pregnancy, a biochemical examination of blood from a cubital vein on an empty stomach is carried out, determine the C-peptide level (ng/ml), insulin concentration (mcED/L) and glucose (mmol/L), calculate the HOMA index according to the formula: HOMA index = glucose concentration × insulin concentration/22.5, determine the gestation period and calculate the coefficient of fetopathy F by the formula: F=0.22+0.016×C-peptid+0.022×I-HOMA+0.009×GA, where C-peptid – level of C-peptide (ng/ml), I-HOMA – insulin resistance index of HOMA, GA – duration of gestation (weeks), 0.22 – constant of linear regression equation, determined with the values of other parameters equal to zero, 0.016, 0.022 and 0.009 – regression coefficients, standardized by the corresponding range of values. At factor F of 1.0 or more, development of fetopathy is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides simplicity and improves effectiveness of predicting fetopathy in pregnant women with gestational diabetes in the second half of pregnancy.
