FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of providing thermal and/or acoustic insulation for a structure which includes: providing a substrate containing fibers; depositing a substrate on a structure; mixing the substrate with the binder composition before, during or after depositing the substrate on the structure; curing the binder composition after depositing the support and the binder composition on the structure; wherein the binder composition contains at least one hydrocolloid. Present invention also relates to an insulated structure obtained using said method.
EFFECT: invention provides thermal and/or acoustic insulation for the structure using a binder composition which can be applied on the structure and cured on site, minimizing the effect of harmful substances and the need for protective measures.
