FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of castings from nickel-based alloys, and can be used in making ceramic molds for filling large-size blades of gas turbine engines of high-power power plants. Gating system for production in a unit of two large-size cast blades of gas turbine engines with small and large shelves from heat-resistant nickel alloys contains a bowl, a riser, upper and lower manifolds connected by feeders with blades located vertically symmetrically relative to vertical axis, wherein the bowl and the riser have a cross section from 68.0 to 211.0 cm2 and from 10.0 to 92.0 cm2, respectively, with a volume of bowl of 2,500.0 cm3 and a volume of riser of 1,780.0 cm3, angle of inclination of the blade root relative to riser is 14°, the ratio of the volume of the upper and lower manifolds with feeders is 2.2–2.3, note here that gating system weight makes 0.97–0.98.
EFFECT: creation of conditions for simultaneous pouring of two large-size blades with large and small flanges, creation of identical optimum conditions of crystallization and hardening for each of blades separately and creation of a compact unit for an automated method of making a casting mold by investment patterns and providing a minimum metal consumption for a gate-feed system.
