FIELD: video signal encoding and decoding.
SUBSTANCE: present invention provides a method of decoding a video signal, the method comprising steps of: determining a limited region in the current block based on the width and height of the current block, wherein last nonzero conversion coefficient is located in restricted area; decoding a first syntax element, which represents the position of the last nonzero transform coefficient, in the limited region and decodes the current block based on the position of the last nonzero transform coefficient.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of entropy coding.
