FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to functional diagnostics, and can be used for diagnosing chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy in children. That is ensured by clinical-neurological examination, electroneuromyography, peripheral nerve ultrasound. Additionally, an ultrasound of the brachial plexus is performed to measure cross-sectional area of all the bundles in the supraclavicular region. For this purpose, an ultrasonic linear sensor of 18 MHz is used. If the cross-section area is more than 15.3 mm2, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy is diagnosed in children.
EFFECT: method enables diagnosing chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy in children.
