FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical production and is intended for production of non-ferrous castings by injection moulding machines. Piston unit of the injection moulding machine contains interconnected piston and rod with a longitudinal channel and transverse windows open into it and bottom thereof, disc arranged without gaps between the end of the rod and the bottom of the piston cavity and connected by the shank with the rod, a pipeline installed in the above channel with a side gap and fixed by a non-detachably front end in the hollow shank of the disc, and formed by surfaces of piston, rod and disc annular gap with sealing element. In the annular gap there opened by the rear ends are the longitudinal grooves of the connecting part with the piston of the disc, the front ends of which are open to the side gap between the disc and the piston, to the bottom of which the front part of the disc is resting. Disc is made with a chamfer in the zone of its lateral and end surfaces intersection, on which the beginning of front transverse inclined windows are made, which are opened with their ends into its cavity. In rear part of disc there are rear crosswise openings open to said annular gap. End face of chamfer is located at bottom edge of radius of conjugation of side surface and bottom of piston cavity, separated from side surface of disc with a gap of at least 1 mm.
