FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical production, and it is suitable as an element of tooling for producing non-ferrous castings on injection molding machines. A piston assembly of an injection molding machine contains a piston made with a cavity, a rod with a longitudinal channel, a disk placed without gaps between the end of the rod and the bottom of the piston cavity and connected to the rod, and a pipeline installed in the mentioned channel with a side gap and fixed permanently with the front end in a hollow disk, a rear annular gap formed by surfaces of the piston, rod and disk, wherein the front end of the disk is rested on the bottom of the piston, made in the area of intersection of its side and end surfaces with a disk chamfer, the end edge of which is located at the bottom edge of the radius of the interface of the side surface and the bottom of the piston cavity, separated from the side surface of the disc by a gap of at least 1 mm, on the chamfer of the disc, there are beginnings of transverse inclined windows open with ends into the piston cavity. All elements are connected to each other. The disk is connected permanently with an internal connecting surface to the rod by means of a hollow shank made on the front part of the rod, connected additionally to its end by a rod chamfer, in which inclined transverse windows open into the longitudinal channel of the rod are made, wherein the disk is made with an external threaded surface for connection to the piston, and longitudinal windows are made on the rear end of the disk in the area of its external connecting threaded surface under the piston, separated from bottoms of its thread by walls, rear edges of longitudinal windows are open into the rear annular gap, where inclined transverse windows of the rod are also open, and front edges of longitudinal windows are open into the front annular gap through the lateral annular groove of the disk formed from its front end, while a sealing element is installed on the rod, located in the annular groove, separated by a wall with a side surface from the front end of the rod.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the piston assembly, the stability of the piston and a decrease in the material consumption of the disk.
