FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical production and is suitable as an element of tooling for producing castings on injection molding machines. The piston assembly of the injection molding machine contains a hollow piston and a rod connected to each other with a longitudinal channel and transverse windows open into it and its bottom; the disk is placed without gaps between the end of the rod and the bottom of the piston cavity and is connected to the rod by its shank; the pipeline is installed in the said channel with a lateral gap and fixed permanently with the front end with the surface of the small cavity of the disk; the surfaces of the piston, the rod and the chamfer of the disc form a rear conical annular gap with a sealing element in its annular groove; the disk has a front chamfer in the area of intersection of its side and front end surfaces; its end edge is located at the bottom edge of the radius of the interface of the side surface and the bottom of the piston cavity, separated from the side surface of the disk by a gap of at least 1 mm, of the surfaces; on this chamfer there are the beginnings of the front transverse inclined windows, open with the ends into a small blind cavity of the disk; it is connected inseparably by an internal threaded surface with the thread of the rod shank; the disk is made with an external connecting threaded surface under the piston; longitudinal windows are made on the rear end of the disk in the area of its connecting threaded surface; they are separated from the bottoms of this thread by walls, the rear edges of which are open into the rear conical annular gap, and the front edges into the front annular gap. the gap through the lateral annular groove of the disk formed from the side of its front end; a chamfer is formed at the disk in the area of intersection of the rear end with the side surface, forming a rear conical annular gap with the surfaces of the rod and piston; the beginnings of its longitudinal windows are located on it, between which there are also the beginnings of its inclined windows, open with their ends into the annular groove of the hollow shank; the outer longitudinal grooves of the shank exit into it with the rear edges, open with the front edges into the gap between the bottom of the large cavity of the disk and the end of this shank; this gap is open into the longitudinal channel of the rod and the shank.
EFFECT: ensuring reliability, high resistance of the piston while simplifying the design.
