FIELD: glass fibers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibers intended for inclusion into filters, or separators of storage battery, or other technical products, as a rule, in applications, where fibers are present as components of paper sheets. Glass fibers, the chemical composition of which contains the following components with mass content, which varies within the limits defined below: SiO2 50–70 %, Al2O3 0–5 %, CaO+MgO 0–7 %, Na2O 5–15 %, K2O 0–10 %, BaO 2–10 %, SrO 2–10 %, ZnO<2 %, B2O3 5–15 %.
EFFECT: technical result is high chemical resistance of glass fiber, aging resistance, as well as mechanical strength.
