FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and can be used for manufacturing of partial removable plate dental prosthesis. Imprints of dentures and jaws are obtained. Gypsum models are made and denture is simulated. Wax is replaced with plastic and a ready prosthesis is obtained. Herewith, the dental arches and jaws are imprinted using the PlanScan (Planmeca, Finland) intra-oral scanner. Three-dimensional optical image of a face is obtained using a face scanner faceSCAN III (Germany). Using combined images of digital models of jaws and optical image of face in program Exocad, models of upper and lower jaws of polymer resins are printed on 3D printer FormLabs (USA) with subsequent duplication of these models from super-gypsum for making a detachable partial plate denture thereon. Partial removable prosthesis is simulated in the Exocad program, a prototype of a partial removable plate prosthesis is printed in the form of a polymer resin model on 3D printer FormLabs (USA). Partial removable plate prosthesis is modeled on a plaster model, being guided by a prototype of the prosthesis. Prepared prosthesis is fitted on polymer model. Further, the partial removable plate prosthesis is fitted and applied in the patient's oral cavity and corrected if necessary.
EFFECT: method provides accurate display of the prosthetic bed when obtaining optical impressions, shorter time for making a partial removable plate denture with simultaneous improvement of accuracy, reduced number of visits by a patient to a dentist due to preliminary construction of a digital model of patient's jaw and prosthesis.
