FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, products manufactured from fire-resistant nickel-base alloys.
SUBSTANCE: given alloys are designed for applications requiring high strength/weight ratio, high corrosion resistance and capacity of operating at high temperature conditions. Product is manufactured by high-pressure die casting process from fire-resistant nickel-base alloy. Microstructure of alloy, from which product is manufactured, is characterized by absence of yield limit and small average size of grain corresponding to or below ASTM yield limit. Methods for manufacture and thermal processing of products are described. Products manufactured by methods are components of gas turbine plant, such as vanes of rotor or stator, casing and sealing device. Methods allow products to be manufactured by high-pressure die casting process. Said products exhibit properties similar to those of products obtained by molding. Thermal processing is aimed at reducing or elimination of alloying components.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of products manufactured from special nickel-base alloy.
