FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to casting technology, and can be used in technology of precision casting on molten models using polystyrene master-models. Ceramic suspension for molding molded molding molds comprises ceramic material and binder in form of water-organic colloidal solution of metal oxide. Density of the ceramic suspension is 1.5-3.5 g/cm3, the viscosity of the ceramic suspension is 70-80 s, the ceramic material used is electrocorundum, the content of which in the ceramic suspension is 75-95 wt%, density of binder is equal to 1.1-1.3 g/cm3, water-organic colloidal solution with medium pH 5.0-8.0 contains metal oxide in form of SiO2 in amount of 20-35%.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the composition of the ceramic suspension, reduces the marriage of the face layer of the mold, increases strength of the contact surface of the mold, improves wettability of the polystyrene models, and reduces the amount of defects in the casts.
