FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio monitoring methods and is intended to determine the location of detected terrestrial radio-emitting objects. For this purpose, according to data of two and more radio direction finders preliminary coordinates of object and area of its subsequent search and detection with specified confidence probability are determined. Further, a multi-copter with a video camera is used, for which the route of flight from the launching point to the specified characteristic point of the zone is calculated. When the zone is reached, the multi-copter moves along the selected search path. When an object is detected, the updated coordinates are determined by reading from the digital coordinates map of its image on a video frame matched with the map.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and wider field of radio monitoring.
