FIELD: determination of coordinates of objects and their recognition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the coordinates of objects and their recognition. The method provides for the integrated use of various types of monitoring based on the use of a priori information about their structure and topology of spatial placement in various conditions of combat activity, while the decision on whether a detected single object belongs to the s-th class is made based on comparing its vector contour with S reference vector contours using the maximum value of the cross-correlation function (CCF), which exceeded the threshold value of η1. Otherwise, other available types of monitoring are additionally used to detect a single object. A group object is recognized by comparing its feature vector with L reference vector features using the maximum value of CCF 2. The decision in favor of the l-th class of a group object is made when the threshold conditions max CCF 2 >η2 are met. Otherwise, an additional search for single objects in a specified area is carried out during a specified time interval using available monitoring tools and a final decision is made.
EFFECT: present invention increases the accuracy of detecting of group objects.
