FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to two versions of a cartridge for an aerosol generating system, an aerosol generating system and two versions of a method of making a cartridge for a system, generating aerosol. In compliance with first version, cartridge comprises liquid storage part (10, 10.1) comprising housing (12, 12.1) retaining liquid aerosol-forming substrate. Housing (12, 12.1) has first and second holes (14, 14.1). Cartridge includes first and second permeable planar heaters assembled (16, 16.1). First planar heater assembly (16) is attached to housing (12, 12.1) and passes through first hole (14) of housing (12, 12.1). Second planar heater assembly (16.1) is attached to housing (12, 12.1) and passes through second hole (14.1) of housing (12, 12.1). First and second permeable planar heaters in assembly (16, 16.1) are located opposite each other so that they face each other and form channel (20) for air flow between each other. In the second version, the cartridge comprises a first liquid storage portion (10) comprising first housing (12) holding a liquid aerosol-forming substrate, wherein first housing (12) has first hole (14). Cartridge comprises first permeable planar heater assembly (16). First planar heater assembly (16) is attached to first housing (12) and passes through first hole (14) of first housing (12). Cartridge has second part (10.1) for liquid storage containing second housing (12.1). Second housing (12.1) has second hole (14.1) and the second permeable planar heater assembly (16.1). Second planar heater assembly (16.1) is attached to second housing (12.1) and passes through second hole (14.1) of second housing (12.1). System comprises main part with power supply unit, electric circuit and cartridge. Cartridge is connected to the main part. Main part comprises inlet for air, made so that air can be supplied through air inlet and channel (20) for air flow of cartridge into mouthpiece. In the first version, the method includes a step of providing a liquid storage portion (10, 10.1) comprising body (12, 12.1) retaining a liquid aerosol-forming substrate. Method comprises a step of attaching a first permeable planar heater assembly (16) to housing (12, 12.1) such that first permeable planar heater assembly (16) passes through first opening (14) of housing (12, 12.1). Method comprises a step of securing second permeable planar heater assembly (16.1) to housing (12, 12.1) so that second permeable planar heater assembly (16.1) passes through second opening (14.1) of housing (12, 12.1). Method comprises stage of arrangement of first and second permeable planar heaters in assembly (16, 16.1) opposite each other so that they face each other and form channel (20) for air flow between each other. In the second version, the method includes steps of providing a first liquid storage portion (10, 10.1) and attaching the first permeable planar heater assembly (16) to first housing (12) so that first permeable planar heater assembly (16) passes through first hole (14) of first housing (12). Method comprises steps of providing second portion (10, 10.1) for storing liquid and attaching second permeable planar heater assembly (16.1) to second housing (12.1) so that second permeable planar heater assembly (16.1) passes through second hole (14.1) of second housing (12.1). Method comprises a step of arranging first and second permeable planar heaters in assembly (16, 16.1) opposite each other so that they face each other and form channel (20) for air flow between each other.

EFFECT: technical result is provision of optimized air flow past heater in assembly and optimized heating of air flowing near heater assembly, as well as elimination of condensation of aerosol drops on cold or cold side of cartridge.
