FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Muscle is extracted, a muscle tendon is sutured. Muscles are cut off and fixed to sclera with recession. First, myopexy is performed by two loop stitches along the muscles of the tendon to the sclera by means of two non-traumatic needles with threads. Pre-imposed on a muscular tendon during its suturing, with tying of double knots after each stitch, without subsequent cutting of free ends of threads. That is followed by additional myopexy with a third hinge fixation stitch to the point of initial attachment of the dissected muscle with the help of one previous needle with a suture. Sclera and the muscle stump are simultaneously sutured one by one, followed by tying the double knot above the stitch using the free end of the second previous needle with the suture. At that, forming interconnected three fixation stitches, two main sclera-muscular and one additional fastening stitches.
EFFECT: method enables producing reliable myopexy of a recessive muscle accompanying surgical correction of strabismus.
