SUBSTANCE: disclosed is cartridge receiving device (10) for beverage preparation (70) by means of cartridge (2) comprising container (7) filled with beverage substance (6) inserted into beverage preparation machine (3), connected to cartridge (2) and having mixing chamber (8) made with possibility of bringing into hydrodynamic connection with vessel (6) and device (12) of fluid supply ending in mixing chamber (8). Cartridge (2) has cartridge hole (63), which is in hydrodynamic connection with reservoir (6), closed by sealing element (18) containing sealing film, which is applied on cartridge opening (63) edge, and the cartridge receiving device (10) comprises piercing stud (73) projecting towards cartridge (2) so that as a result of relative movement between cartridge receiving device (10) and cartridge (2) piercing stud (73) pierces sealing element (18) and creates hydrodynamic connection between container (6) and mixing chamber (8).

EFFECT: disclosed is a cartridge receiving device for beverage preparation.
