SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cartridge system for preparing a beverage, to a beverage-making machine and to a beverage preparation method. The inventive cartridge system (1) for preparing a beverage, which is inserted into a beverage-making machine (3), comprises a cartridge (2) and a receiving device (10) of a cartridge connected to a cartridge (2). The receiving device (10) of a cartridge has a mixing chamber (8) and comprises a cover element (60) which is reversely connected to the output element (61). The cover element (60) is embodied in such a way that it is reversible to a cartridge (2) for at least temporarily closing the opening (63) of the cartridge. A hydrodynamic connection between the opening (63) of the cartridge and the mixing chamber (8) shall be established by converting the valve unit from a closed to an open state. Pollution of the beverage-making machine is prevented by the retroactively inserted beverage-making chamber, which is part of the replacement cartridge system.
EFFECT: invention enables producing high-quality cartridge systems and beverage-making machines.
