SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cell of fuel cell. According to the invention, the cell of the fuel element contains the first gas-diffusion layer laid on the first surface of the membrane-electrode assembly so that its external peripheral edge section projects from the first surface of the membrane-electrode assembly. In first part of fuel cell: cell of fuel element contains connecting layer; between membrane-electrode assembly and section of first gas-diffusion layer on inner side of its outer peripheral edge section there is a binding layer connecting membrane-electrode assembly and said section; between bearing frame and outer peripheral edge section of first gas diffusion layer, between the load-carrying carcass and the first separator and / or between the bearing carcass and the second separator there is a tie layer connecting the bearing frame with the outer peripheral edge section or separator.

EFFECT: increased mechanical strength.
