SUBSTANCE: invention relates to versions of the solid composition and versions of the composition in the form of a suspension for use in the pharmaceutical and food industry, versions of the method of preparing the composition in the form of a suspension, as well as to a method of treating a disease or condition susceptible to treatment with calcium carbonate. Solid composition contains amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC), inorganic polyphosphate or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts as a stabilizer. Molar ratio of atoms P in the stabilizer to Ca atoms in the ACC (molar ratio of P:Ca) is at least 1:90, and the composition remains stable for at least 7 days.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining stable compositions of ACC, which can be used in food or pharmaceutical industry, implementation of highly efficient methods for production thereof on an industrial scale.
