FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves saturation of de-epithelised stroma of cornea with 0.1 % riboflavin solution with 20 % dextran for 30 minutes with installation frequency of 1 drop per 1 minute. Next, ultraviolet irradiation is performed corneal wavelength 370 nm, power 18 mW/cm2 for 5 minutes duration, the UV irradiation during instillation riboflavin overturned. After irradiation, partial temporary blepharorrhaphy is performed for 14 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention improves the functional results of the treatment by increasing the antibacterial effect, achieving active epithelial regeneration and the stromal thickening effect, preserving the corneal transparency, and reducing the length of treatment.
