FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Disclosed is a device for priming vegetable seeds, which is made in form of a sealed housing, closed with a cover, on which there is an ultraviolet lamp with wavelength of 255 nm, intended for disinfection of seeds. Inside the housing there is a treatment chamber filled with water, in which there is a seed holder, and at the bottom of the chamber there is a heat source which provides a constant water temperature inside the chamber equal to 40 °C. At the bottom of the device there is a compressor which supplies air via a pipeline to a sprayer installed inside the treatment chamber.
EFFECT: invention provides increased sprouting energy and germinating capacity of vegetable crops seeds.
