METHOD OF PRODUCING AN ICE-FORMING AGENT FOR ACTION ON SUPERCOOLED CLOUDS AND FOGS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A01G15/00

FIELD: meteorology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to meteorology, namely to an ice-forming agent, and can be used in charges of cruise engines of anti-hail rockets for active action on supercooled clouds and fogs, for artificial precipitation, fog scattering, etc. Method of producing ice-forming agent for action on supercooled clouds and fogs involves fusion of silver wire and its evaporation with a levitation-jet method. During fusion of silver wire and its evaporation into the reactor there added is powder of silicon dioxide in the form of nanodispersed particles, which crystallizes on itself particles of silver. To obtain silicon dioxide powder, natural rock with high content of bound amorphous silica up to 70-75% is used as initial silicon-containing material. Raw material is ground to produce fraction with grinding depth of not more than 700 nm.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of ice-forming activity of ice-forming agent at higher temperatures of cloud medium under conditions of blowing, as well as higher value of weight ratio of cruise engines of anti-hail missiles and accordingly efficiency of action and range of its flight due to synthesis of nanodisperse powders of amorphous silica coated with silver shell.
