FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for storage of agricultural products of field crop cultivation and horticulture. Method for treatment of vegetables, fruit, grain and leguminous crops and products manufactured from them consists in their blowing by electric arc air at atmospheric pressure. First, a plasma source is generated with DC arc discharge in plasma-forming gas, for example in argon or nitrogen, when using a rod tungsten cathode, having a water-cooled closure in its outer part and facing a water-cooled nozzle copper anode, a hot internal conical end face. On the anode channel section along the normal line to the gas-discharge plasma flow there is mixed circular air flow creating distributed anode binding with specific erosion of the anode at level of 10-10 g/Cl and further flowing along the plasma source axis in the form of a mixture with gas-discharge plasma. Behind the plasma source nozzle cut, spatial distributions of temperature and NO and OH radical concentrations are measured at selected gas flow rates and electric arc discharge parameters, which create average concentrations of said radicals of not less than 500 ppm, and determining minimum allowable removal of processed objects from the plasma source nozzle edge, wherein its temperature is 30 °C. After that selected objects are blown with prepared by that way plasma jet using parameters determined for it.
EFFECT: technical result is longer storage life of agricultural products, preservation of its presentation and nutritive value at maintenance in normal conditions without temperature reduction and without additional packages, coatings and gases, and also reduction of danger of such treatment by service personnel.
