FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building technologies for recovery of parts of agricultural machines and equipment, particularly for recovery of plunger-type parts. Layer that compensates for wear is applied with complete overlapping of worn-out cylindrical surface of plunger by electrospark treatment by movement of electrode along generatrix of cylindrical surface of plunger taking into account pitch and depth of wear marks. Performing electromechanical hardening in transverse cylindrical plane of plunger along helical line with overlapping of full area of recovered part of cylindrical surface, wherein layer that compensates for wear is applied with thickness providing compensation of wear and deformation during electromechanical hardening and subsequent machining.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce labour intensity of plunger recovery, as well as to increase durability of working surface of plunger.
