FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to reconditioning of seed discs and can be used in repair of seeder. Proposed method comprises reconditioning of one side of seed disc with wear of up to 0.1-0.15 mm by application of wearproof coating. It includes also spark processing to produce layer depth to compensate for wear and allowance for further machining. Then, mechanical processing is performed to surface roughness Rα=0.8-1.5 mcm by nonabrasive ultrasound finishing to surface roughness Rα=0.025-0.036 mcm and diamond-like thin-ply 0.5-3 mcm-thick coating is applied based on silicon oxycarbide. Note here that after wear of disc reconditioned side agitator flags are placed thereat to recondition the disc second side. Note also that after wear of pre-hardened second side to 0.1-0.15 mm, it is reconditioned by application of aforesaid coating.
EFFECT: reconditioning of seed disc, hardened surface, longer life.
