FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in radio monitoring systems when solving the task of hidden determination of radio-frequency source (RFS) coordinates, in conditions of a priori uncertainty relative to polarization and spatial parameters of radio signals, noise and interference when requirements are met to minimize overall dimensions of direction-finding antenna system, in particular, for determination of RFS coordinates from aircraft board. Method is based on measurement using TOLAS orthogonal components Hx1, Hy1, Hz1 and Hx2, Hy2, Hz2 vectors of magnetic field intensity and with interval equal to quarter of period of electromagnetic wave T / 4 of measured radio signal at moments of time t1 and t2, determination of orientation of vectors and in space, construction of auxiliary planes ΩH1 and ΩH2, plotting the position line RFS l, selecting the Earth's surface as the surface of the RFS position, calculating the RFS coordinates at the intersection of the position line RFS l with the Earth's surface.
EFFECT: reduced time spent on determination of coordinates of RFS, based on use of tri-orthogonal loop antenna system (TOLAS), consisting of three antenna elements in form of frames.
