SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for predicting a risk of schizophrenia involving DNA recovery from biological material and detection of polymorphous loci rs16944 and rs1143634 in interleukin - 1β gene, VNTR and rs9657182 in indolamine-2,3-dioxygenase gene, rs2275163 and rs1053230 in kynurenine-3-monooxygenase (KMO) gene; if observing a complex genotype comprising allele C (rs16944), allele T (rs1143634), allele V1 (VNTR), allele C (rs9657182), allele T (rs2275163) and two alleles G (rs1053230), the risk of schizophrenia is predicted.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and effectiveness of predicting the risk of schizophrenia.
