FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to erosion-resistant ceramic material and can be used in ceramic heat shield of combustion chamber. Ceramic powder contains 96–99.9 wt % of aluminum oxide of different granulometric fractions and 0.1–4 wt % of active magnesium oxide, which forms a spinel phase during roasting. Plate alumina is used as aluminum oxide. Powder does not contain silicon compounds.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is increased corrosion and erosion resistance and heat resistance of ceramics.
