Invention relates to a method of eliminating radio link failures performed in user equipment (UE) (200), where UE is connected to a radio communication network through a plurality of uplink (UL) carriers (220, 230), comprising: monitoring (S41) retransmissions of radio link control (RLC) data packets for at least two of a plurality of UL carriers, determining (S42) transmission failure of RLC data packets with respect to one of UL carriers and providing (S43) information indicating failure and said UL carrier; invention further relates to a method of eliminating radio link failures performed in UE (200), where UE is connected to a radio network by a plurality of UL carriers (210, 220, 230), comprising performing (S61) retransmissions of a defined RLC data packet on at least two of the plurality of UL carriers, monitoring (S62) retransmissions of radio link control (RLC) data packets, together for at least two UL carriers and providing (S63) information indicating common RLF; invention further relates to corresponding methods carried out in base station (100) corresponding to UE (200) and base stations (100) corresponding to a communication system and a corresponding method in a communication system.
