FIELD: communication technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication. An integrated access backhaul (IAB) node with at least two radio interfaces contains: two interfaces, where the first interface creates the first radio communication line with at least one parent node, and the second interface creates the second radio communication line(s) with one or more wireless terminals; a processor circuit detecting a radio communication line failure (RLF) on the first radio communication line for the first interface and restoring a radio resource management connection (RRC) with at least one parent node on the first radio communication line for the first interface; and a transmitter circuit transmitting an RLF notification for the second interface over the second radio communication line for one or more wireless terminals, which indicates an unsuccessful recovery procedure.
EFFECT: reliability and stability of IAB systems in relation to various types of possible failures in the communication line, in particular in the transit communication line.
