FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for washing agricultural raw materials for food production, including root and tuber crops and vegetables. Machine contains a charging and a discharging tray, bath with liquid and a driving drum installed therein. Drive drum is made along perimeter of three and more coiled in vertical plane and serially connected to each other along length of drum screw, identical in width of strips of curvilinear shape of different order and degree of curvature, concave or convex shape relative to the drum rotation axis to form outer perforated laps along its perimeter. Drive drum is made with perforated conical shape with helical pockets of curved shape along inner perimeter and is installed at acute angle β relative to its horizontal rotation axis with alternating helical ledges of curvilinear shape along external perimeter, coiled in form of helical surfaces with perforated walls of wavy shape and with flat end perforated cheeks of curved shape, arranged at different angles α and ψ to drum rotation axis and at angle ω to each other. Longest axes of end perforated cheeks of curved shape coincide with each other or are turned along rotation axis of drive drum relative to each other by an angle θ. Conical spring with round cross-section of turns and device for its compression or expansion is rigidly attached to inner surface of conical perforated drum.

EFFECT: use of invention will allow to expand technological capabilities of machine, as well as increase efficiency and quality of washing.
