FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Dental imaging device includes an elongated handle having a rotary head connected to its distal end and having a central platform with a plurality of arc-shaped scanning cantilevers connected to turn therewith by means of a loop. Arched scanning cantilevers have shape and size suitable for common location around the tooth, and each includes at least one scanner and roller guide, which rolls along tooth or gum surface to displace scanners at required distance from tooth surface, facilitating production of its image. In this sense, such a dental imaging device can be used in scanning and recording an intraoral surface contour, data of which can be used to create a digital three-dimensional impression of a surface, which can be printed on 3D printer or the like.
EFFECT: use of this group of inventions enables higher effectiveness of dental imaging.
