FIELD: medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for treating a subject suffering from cancer. That is ensured by using a combination of a histone deacetylase inhibitor (HDACi) and a vaccine composition containing a pluripotent cell population which have been inactivated, for preparing a medicament for simultaneous, separate or sequential administration. Group of inventions also relates to a method of producing a population of pluripotent cells that have been inactivated.
EFFECT: use of this group of inventions has shown that vaccination with xenogeneic embryonic stem cells combined with a histone deacetylase inhibitor (valproic acid) causes a higher anti-tumor response.
