SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cellular communication in an unlicensed area of spectrum. Method carried out by the transmitter includes a step of performing a "Listen Before Talk" (LBT) procedure for channels in a transmission band of a transmitting node, wherein the transmission frequency band is divided into sections of a frequency band corresponding to channels. Method further includes a step of transmitting a transmission in a subset of sections of a frequency band corresponding to a subset of channels determined accessible based on the results of the LBT procedure. At transmission stage, transmission is transmitted in accordance with transmission scheme, using carrier aggregation and / or fusion of carriers for transmission in said subset of said sections of frequency band and using resources in one or more protective intervals between two or more neighboring sections of frequency band from said subset of said sections of frequency band.
EFFECT: technical result is efficient use of unlicensed frequency spectrum area.
