FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. In the method, rape seeds are germinated for 7 days on a mineral wool substrate with watering with distilled water as the substrate dries up. Exposure to germinated seeds is carried out under constant monospectral LED illumination with green light with a wavelength of 525 nm in the mode of a given low photon intensity of 1.68 mcmol / m2 · s at the level of the substrate with seeds.
EFFECT: method allows expanding possibilities of using LED lighting in the version of the monochromatic spectrum of green light, determining the wavelength and radiation parameters to increase the germination of rapeseed and quality of seedlings, namely, height and yield.
