FIELD: hydraulic structures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flood prevention equipment intended for fast stop and restraint of water flows, water lifts, as well as for erection of dam during protection against flood as temporary structure. Task of the proposed technical solution is to eliminate disadvantages inherent in known structures, namely, by using a fixed on the ground power arched shell of a flat plastic sheet, coiled in form of a semi-cylinder or half of the lateral surface of the truncated cone, which senses the head of water, exclude: a) the need for continuous processes of filling with water and emptying after using sleeves or reservoirs inherent to water-inlet dikes; b) the need for a structurally complex and material-intensive rigid metal frame with hinges and additional stiffness ribs inherent in the mobile sectional dam. Power arc shells are assembled in the form of a series circuit of barrier-modules attached to the ground. Waterproof film is laid on the surface of the barrier-modules, the lap joints of which are sealed by means of a water-resistant sealant or multiple folding of the connected edges of both films at the junction point.
EFFECT: enabling to overcome disadvantages inherent in known structures.
