SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sanitary handles which can be automatically disinfected after each use thereof by being moving into a disinfection zone and can be used for opening or closing doors, flaps and actuating different devices. The self-disinfecting handle (1) comprises a rotating unit of a handle comprising a central part (7) which can be rotated relative to the axis of rotation thereof (8), a gripping element/elements (2) installed on the central part thereof (7), a means for disinfecting the gripping elements (2) with an operation zone into which the gripping elements (2) are delivered during the rotation of the rotating unit of the handle. The gripping elements (2) are connected to the central part (7) of the handle unit by only one end thereof. The surfaces formed by the lateral sides and the free end part (3) of the gripping elements (2) when rotated relative to the axis of rotation (8) of the central part (7) of the rotating unit of the handle are open surfaces accessible from the external space.

EFFECT: achieved is increase in the ease of use, simplification of the design and extension of the scope of use.
